SF's Slow Food and Beer Fest

Saturday marks the first ever Slow Food and Beer Fest brought to us by Slow Food San Francisco and the San Francisco Brewers Guild. Festivities begin at noon and last until 4pm at Fort Mason. It's really a party for your tastebuds since the event will focus on tasting and pairing a wide array of San Francisco-brewed beers (from favorites like Gordon Biersch, Magnolia Pub and Brewery and Thirsty Bear) with some of Northern California's best artisan food. Don't feel bad about indulging; the event benefits the School Garden Project at Sanchez Elementary School, supporting sustainable agriculture that's local and organic. Tickets are $50, well worth it for a day of delicious brew and exquisite foods.
