SF's Green Apple Music & Arts Festival

Even if reduce/reuse/recycle is something you try to remember as opposed to a constant mantra, embrace your inner hippie and ride the new wave of greenness sweeping the nation. Head to San Francisco's Golden Gate Park (but leave the birkenstocks at home) to celebrate Earth Day 2007 with music, arts and several thousand of your closest friends at The Green Apple Festival. Though the celebration starts on Thursday, April 19 and runs through Sunday, April 22, the pinnacle takes place with a free show on Saturday at Golden Gate Park. Rock out to bands like Greyboy Allstars, Stephen Marley and Bob Weir's Rat Dog while learning about ways to make this planet a better place to live for generations to come.
