San Francisco's Film Night in the Park
Sunday 1st July 2007

We may not have those oft-revered hot summer nights that folks in other parts of the country delight in, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy a little outdoor summer fun action in the evenings! What better way than with Film Night in the Park! With movies showing throughout the summer (and even into the fall when it actually does get warm!) at Dolores Park, Washington Square Park and Union Square, there's no better excuse to pack a picnic, pack up the family and head to one of the showings for an evening of film with hundreds of other fun-loving folks. And it even satisfies your desire to go green and help the environment: most of the showings are powered by PG&E solar electrcity. Here's the schedule for the rest of the season (we will definitely be eating cheese and crackers on our picnic blanket at Union Square on August 4 for Annie Hall, one of our all-time faves): Saturday, 7/21,SIXTEEN CANDLES @ Dolores Park, 8:00 PM Saturday, 8/4, ANNIE HALL @ Union Square, 8:00 PM Saturday, 8/25, 8 1/2 @ Washington Sq. Park, 8:00 PM Saturday, 9/15, REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE @ Union Square, 8:00 PM Saturday, 10/06, SUNSET BOULEVARD @ Dolores Park, 8:00 PM
