Pinot Noir Summit

On February 10, Affairs of the Vine, a company that sponsors hands-on events dedicated to demystifying wine, presents the ultimate Pinot Noir lover's adventure: the 5th Annual Pinot Noir Summit at San Francisco's Fort Mason Officers' Club. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste 40 luscious Pinot Noirs, attend workshops, watch the Pinot Noir Shootout Ceremony, and enjoy a reception featuring top Pinot Noir winemakers showcasing their wines with specially paired hors d'oeuvres. The event lasts from noon - 7:30pm, plenty of time to get your wine on. At $100, tickets aren't cheap, but the price of admission does include two workshops you can choose from the following:

• Here Comes the Clone ~ Discussion and tasting
• The Fashion of Pinot Noir ~ Who’s driving the fashion? 
• A Question of Style ~ Winemaker panel will discuss their "style" and tasting
• Discovering New Stars ~ An introduction and tasting of wines
• Location, Location, Location ~ An exploration of appellations
