Picasso at SFMOMA
Monday 26th March 2007

Pablo Picasso is in a class all his own. The Spanish painter is known the world over for his influential work and distinct style eras. From blue to cubes, the artist has influenced generations of work and now you can see the fruits of his labor alongside those he inspired at the Picasso and American Art exhibit at SFMOMA. The exhibit runs through Monday, May 28, but don't put it off. You may want to go back again! With pieces by the likes of Roy Lichenstein and Jackson Pollack hung alongside the Picasso works that inspired them, you may need another go-round to take it all in. For an extra $2, take a self-guided audio tour that will tell you all about the American artists and their Spanish muse.
