New Year's in Monterey Part II

If undersea dining and drinking isn't your thing, try Monterey's First Night, a New Year's Eve celebration of the arts. The non-alcoholic party starts at 3:00pm in historic downtown Monterey and lasts until midnight. Tickets are $20 at the event and $15 in advance. The event features more that 100 art, music, dance and poetry events including a twilight parade and street performances. Bring the kids and enjoy some good, clean, end of 2006 fun!
