Midsummer Mozart Festival
Friday 13th July 2007

If all summer means to you is margaritas and midriffs, it's time to grow up a little with the Midsummer Mozart Festival. Founded in 1974 by classical musician and masterful Mozart interpreter George Cleve, the Festival is the only one in North America devoted entirely to Wolfgang Amadeus. Featuring renowned international soloists as well as local musicians, the festival aims to keep the love of Mozart and classical music alive with moving performances of unparalleled excellence. The first part of this year's festival runs July 19 - July 22 with events in San Jose, San Francisco, Sonoma and Berkeley. The second part runs July 26 - 29 with additional events in the Bay Area. Check the website for all the info and to purchase tickets.
