You love to eat? Now learn to cook! This summer is the perfect time to head to beautiful Half Moon Bay and learn a few skillet-worthy skills. Inside the Kitchen is a summer-long opportunity to nosh some tasty treats while getting some R&R. Cooking classes taught by top chefs are offered every Friday evening June 1 through August 31 at the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay. Try your hand at "Treasures of Asia" or perhaps "Rustic French" is more your speed. Got a sweet tooth? Satisfy it at the "Demolition Desserts" class taught by Elizabeth Falkner from the famed San Francisco restaurant Citizen Cake. If one class isn't enough for you, book a reservation for a Theme Weekend, "Mastering the Grill" or my fave, "Mixology". The classes are all demonstration-style and the registration fee includes a small-plate tasting of each recipe, a beverage pairing, plus a complete recipe booklet to take home, unless the class is taught by an author in which case you get to take home their latest cookbook! And as if you needed another reasong, a potion of the proceeds will be donated to Meals on Wheels. Get cookin'!
