Holidays on Ice

Tired of fighting the Christmas day crowds at the movie theater? Try something different this year. Take the fam for some fun at the Kristi Yamaguchi holiday ice rink at San Francisco's Embarcadero Center. The seasonal outdoor rink is only open seven weeks a year and makes for the perfect winter tradition. Strap on some skates, grab a hot chocolate and take a stroll around the ice. Or simply take it in from the sidelines where those less coordinated can still enjoy the holiday ambiance. This year the rink is open from 10am - 10pm on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25. So skip the Hollywood blockbuster and enjoy a true wintry activity! If you don't make it for Christmas, the rink will be open through January 2, so you can hit the ice for New Year's!
