Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival

Gillian Welch. Boz Scaggs. Emmylou Harris. Charlie Louvin. Jeff Tweedy. The list reads like a who's who of country and blugrass music and it's only a fraction of the lineup featured at this year's Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. Held in Golden Gate Park this weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 5-7, it's the best free fest around. Pack a picnic and enjoy some foot-stompin', finger-pickin' music while you enjoy the day in the Speedway, Lindley, and Marx Meadows. And did i mention it's free? Because it is. And that's awesome.
