Fish & Farm Restaurant Opens
Tuesday 6th November 2007

Restaurants in San Francisco come and go faster than you can say prix-fixe menu but we're hoping this one will be around for awhile. Fish & Farm, a classy yet comfy new sustainable endeavor by chef Michael Morrison (formerly of Fringale and Michael Mina), sets out to bring you organic food sourced within 100 miles, so you can support local farms while you blissfully munch. The menu offers apps like local-seafood chowder and salt cod fritters, entrees such as grilled Channel Island swordfish and Berkshire pork chop, and our fave, to-die-for desserts like pear and huckleberry crisp and persimmon bread pudding. Add to that a handful of local cheeses and a list of wine, beer, and organic (!) cocktails (Fish & Farm julep anyone?) and you've got a fool-proof meal. The chocolate and teal interior palette and vintage aesthetic add to the coziness and to top it off, the place is downright affordable. Which is great for sustaining your bank account.
